Jaksally targets a specialized group – the girl child of widows and widowers. Through its partnership with Star Ghana on the Widows Empowerment Programme, Jaksally got to fully appreciate the impact of social exclusion, discrimination and stigmatization, especially on their Widows children/girls in terms of low morale, low self-esteem and lack of interest in STEM education and carrier opportunities.
Jaksally identifies evidence based advocacy, partnerships, collaboration, networks, internship, mentoring, coaching and on the field training as principal enterprise areas for meeting its objective/goal of rural wealth creation. Jaksally’s strategy is to support to build the capacity of communities, women, youth, other partners, institutions/School/students interns from all levels and facilitate their understanding of theory and practice to contemporary development system, social business, academic, business/courses/programs being offered, assist them to set up and manage their own enterprises, business schemes and engage in profitable business ventures including self-employment.
Our expertise also include, nurturing and development of cooperatives, exist strategies development for projects which are ending, using local resource mobilization methodologies including Village Savings and loans (VSL) to develop, support, finance and maintain value chains and using VSL in supporting education. We are experts in finaical literacy, training, education and linkage. We achieved 7 of the millennium development goals. We are experts in youth and women development and empowerment. We are good in innovating projects and programs.
We have. Further, access to credit, group formations, capacity enhancement, women and youth training. We have experience in supporting educational projects and programs using local resource mobilization.
